Wesway is a local, non-profit agency which provides personalized respite services for families who are caring for a family member with a disability or chronic health condition. Wesway is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support our respite program as an independent contractor.

Salary range: $75 - $100/hour, flexible hours, up to 20 hours/week
Position Summary
Wesway is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide clinical support and consultation for our Wait‑At‑Home respite service, which assists older adults and seniors awaiting long‑term care placement. This part‑time job offers up to 20 hours per week and will fluctuate depending on organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients in the Wait‑At‑Home program
- Provide clinical recommendations to support safe, effective care
- Participate in care planning to address the unique needs of each individual
- Collaborate closely with program staff to ensure high‑quality, person‑centered service delivery
The successful candidate will function as an independent contractor and is required to meet all obligations associated with self‑employment. The individual must maintain current registration, in good standing, with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Nurse Practitioner and must carry appropriate liability insurance.
