Wesway is a local non-profit organization located in Thunder Bay, Ontario that provides personalized respite services for families caring for a family member with a disability or chronic health condition. The Respite Worker is required to perform all duties usually performed by family caregivers in the day-to-day support of children, adults or seniors with a disability or chronic health condition in accordance with Wesway’s philosophy. Respite is provided at variable times including days, evenings and weekends. Respite Workers are matched with families or work at our Respite Homes according to their abilities, experience, availability and the needs of the families.
